Case Study 1
This large detached family home in Worcestershire was recently refurbished with purpose made joinery. This house had at some time been fitted with upvc windows and doors and the customer was keen to get back the elegant looks that this property had once enjoyed. Fully factory finished Accoya windows and doors were manufactured by our craftsmen and fitted by our team. The windows are a combination of casement style windows and sash windows. Both are manufactured using traditional joinery methods and benefit from having Argon filled, toughened, double glazed units with astragal bar. This gives a greater U value whilst retaining a classic look. All of this joinery was coated with a 3 coat spray applied coating system. Our standard multi point locks and the high quality hardware completes the look. This home now has a beautiful new look, increased energy efficiency, improved acoustics and a new lease of life.

This beautifully converted Grade II listed building dates back to 1740. It is located in the unspoilt Shropshire countryside. The clients were keen to be sympathetic to this stone built property and to retain and showcase original features. Refurbishment began in 2014 with the Granary conversion. The traditional flush casement windows and double boarded insulated doors were manufactured from Idigbo, fully factory finished with a translucent Teknos coating and fitted with “From the Anvil” hardware enhancing the overall look. Once this project had been completed, we were delighted when our clients returned with their specifications for the main house. Matching windows and doors along with a fully factory finished hardwood conservatory were fitted during 2016. The conservatory is tailor made and designed to have bespoke bi-folding windows opening out onto the spacious gardens to maximise the alfresco lifestyle and making it a truly beautiful garden room. The local conservation team commented on how good the windows looked and sensitively the installation process had been.

This charming property is set in the stunning rural Worcestershire countryside and has undergone alterations and improvements. The replacement windows and door were manufactured and fitted back in 2013 and look as good now as they did then. Our client chose to have their purpose made joinery manufactured from Idigbo and fully factory finished in Teknos Cotswold Oak translucent stain. The addition of “From the Anvil” traditional hardware completes this classic period farmhouse look.
Case Study 4
Once part of Kidderminsters thriving carpet industry, this historic building was given a new lease of life in 2016/17 when it underwent major regeneration work. Part of this included a new waterfront development of cafes, bistros and coffee shops. We were chosen by the developer to supply the joinery for the project. We strongly advised the use of Accoya and we were able to achieve completely differing looks with some having an opaque painted finish and others having a translucent coating. We worked closely with the architect to ensure that the job was completed on schedule and we were happy to see these businesses open and attracting their first customers.
