Timber Frame
We specialise in the design, construction and erection of traditionally jointed and pegged bespoke timber framed buildings and green oak structures.
‘Green’ is the term used to describe timber that has just been felled and has not been dried. It is much softer, full of sap and can be cut and worked more easily. Once your item has been manufactured, it will slowly season over the next few years, its colour will slowly change to a silvery grey and will develop character.
‘Green Oak’ ages beautifully, a yearly application of linseed oil will preserve the original warm oak tones.
